Project Description

BID Invest está considerando ofrecer un paquete de financiamiento que incluye tres productos financieros a Telemóvil El Salvador, SA de CV (la "Compañía" o "Tigo"). El primer tramo (15420-01) consiste en un préstamo a largo plazo de hasta US$150 millones. Este financiamiento forma parte de un plan estratégico de inversión de capital de US$300 millones para el período 2024-2027, destinado a apoyar la expansión de la red de infraestructura móvil y fija de Tigo en El Salvador, e incluye la refinanciación parcial de las obligaciones de deuda vencidas. El paquete de financiamiento a largo plazo, en el que BID Invest actuaría como prestamista oficial para la totalidad del financiamiento, incluye US$75 millones en préstamos de BID Invest ("Préstamo A") y hasta US$75 millones a ser movilizados de bancos comerciales ("Préstamo B"). El segundo tramo (15481-01) es una línea de crédito revolving de hasta US$30 millones y, finalmente, el tercer tramo (15558-01) incluye una línea de financiamiento para teléfonos inteligentes no comprometida de hasta US$25 millones.
