Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the IADB, the general objective is to contribute to improving the population's timely access to--and continuity of care within--the services of the National Integrated Health System (SNIS), with an emphasis on reducing territorial disparities within the public subsector. The specific objectives (SOs) are: (i) to enhance the capacity of the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) to exercise its stewardship over SNIS providers; and (ii) to improve the management capacity and effectiveness of the State Health Services Administration (ASSE) care network regarding the timely and continuous provision of services.
