Project Description

According to the IADB, the general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to enhance the understanding of the socio-economic significance of Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival on the tourism sector and the country's economy. Its specific objectives are: (i) to support the development and implementation of a methodological framework for assessing both the direct and indirect socio-economic significance of Carnival to the tourism and creative sectors, and (ii) to assist in applying the developed framework to determine Carnival's direct and indirect socio-economic contributions to tourism and creative sectors.
