Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

The objective of this TC is to support the implementation of two programs in the transport sector (SU-L1057 and SU-L1071) to ensure high-quality execution, efficiency and sustainability of interventions. By integrating social, environmental, and technical practices into construction activities, this TC aims to enhance the resilience of the programs ensuring that they contribute positively to the country's development while minimizing negative impacts on people and the environment. The TC will also support the hiring of high-level civil aviation legislation and technical experts to support the authorities in the updating of the country's legislation and regulations in the sector. Specific activities will include technical and socio-environmental support, as well as capacity building based on regional best practices.
