The primary objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the implementation of the new program in the air transport sector (SU-L1071) by: (i) preparing all technical inputs necessary to reach total eligibility of the program as well as specific disbursement conditions for Components 2 and 3.; (ii) enhance the operational efficiency and maintenance practices at JAPI Airport in Suriname, to ensure safety, reliability and sustainability in airport services and infrastructure; and (iii) collecting information required to complete the baseline for the operation for women travelling with children, as well as the perception of teachers travelling to the interior of the country and the overall perception of safety conditions and parking at Zorg en Hoop.
