According to the Bank’s website, the objective of this TC is to support the execution of the 5626/OC-SU Labor Market Alignment with New Industries Program by increasing the employability in the Amazon region of Suriname, to be able to meaningfully benefit from the bioeconomy, and advance sustainable and efficient production technologies. Specifically, this TC will: (i) promote access to training opportunities to provide indigenous and tribal communities with skills to find employment in environmentally sustainable industries, greening production processes, and other integral parts of bioeconomic activities; and (ii) expand the coverage and effectiveness of labor market intermediation services by jobseekers and employers in the Amazon region of Suriname.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
