Project Description

According to the NDB, the Program will target interventions in the water and sanitation sector financed from MIG over a period of three years from FY2024-26. The key interventions under the Program are as follows: Component 1: Construction/refurbishment of water supply infrastructure Component 2: Construction/refurbishment of sanitation infrastructure Component 3: Institutional capacity enhancement

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF NEW DEVELOPMENT BANK

The New Development Bank (NDB) does not currently have an independent accountability mechanism to accept complaints related to NDB-financed projects. The Bank does have a whistleblower mechanism that receives complaints about misconduct related to corruption, fraudulent practices and instances of money laundering in projects financed by the NDB and/or against the NDB staff members.
