Accoding to the IDB, the objective of this non-reimbursable technical cooperation (TC) is to promote the conservation and restoration of the Amazon biome through financial solutions provided by the Public Development Banks (BPD) of the Green Coalition of Public Development Banks of the Amazon Region ("the Green Coalition"). The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) support the generation of knowledge products defined within the working groups and the Coalition's Biennial Action Plan; and (ii) contribute to the dissemination of these products to establish a common knowledge base among the members of the Green Coalition and other interest groups in the Amazon.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
