According to the Bank’s website, the project consists of develop necessary enablers for the regional digital health ecosystem, which allow the exploitation of the secondary use of regional health data and the adoption of new tools and sources of digital health information, such as personal health information records, Artificial Intelligence, among others. With the purpose of improving disease prevention actions, health care and their continuity. This proposal seeks to strengthen the exchange model implemented in the region, to scale it globally, with the adoption of standards, architectures, governance and protocols of data exchange and interoperability, which LAC countries have been incorporating due to the digital acceleration that the region suffered largely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
