According to the Bank’s website, the general objective of the Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the Modernization of the Salto Grande Hydroelectric Complex (CHSG). The specific objectives are: (i) contribute to the execution of operation RG-L1124-Modernization of the Salto Grande Binational Hydroelectric Complex and the preparation and execution of operation RG-L1167-Modernization Program of the Salto Grande Binational Hydroelectric Complex - Stage II-a through specialized technical support; (ii) provide technical support for the analysis of new technologies for the CHSG's Strategic Investment Plan (PEI); (iii) support the implementation of the CHSG's action plans for gender and people with disabilities; and (iv) promote local productive development in the region.
