According to an information request (#RFI0009887) The IDB bank reports that "the process for this technical cooperation did not advance, The technical cooperation was canceled"
The main objective of this TC is to strengthen the technical, digital, and soft skills of the IDB Group counterparts in the Latin American and the Caribbean (LAC) region to contribute to the economic and social recovery through Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs) and Small Private Online Courses (SPOCs). This TC will increase the Bank's impact as a leader in knowledge creation and dissemination across the region, supporting member countries in a post-pandemic recovery in key areas, such as Social Inclusion and Equality, Productivity, and Innovation, Economic Integration, Gender Equality, and Diversity, Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability, and Institutional Capacity.
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
