The main objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to implement provisions that accelerate the execution of loan programs. This will be carried out supporting during the execution of the programs through: technical, financial, socioeconomic and environmental studies, consultancy to support execution, support in the programming of contracts and optimization of the schedule, detailed risk reviews and support in integrated management, reviews of structures, processes and standards and development of reinforcement proposals, contractual and legal management, definition and implementation of information management systems and tools to support the digitization of processes, development of the terms of reference for consultancies, preparation of bidding documents, technical consultancies for the analysis of designs to analyze potential variants and support for the execution of contracts.
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
