According to IADB website, the objective of the RPG is to strengthen the capacity of the countries in LAC to face the effects of COVID-19 promoting digital transformation in health. Within the public good are three main components: (1) the implementation of a regional agreement and proof of concept (PoC) for the exchange of clinical summary of care between LAC countries, to control the risk of public health diseases, considering a COVID-19 case. (2) The validation of a regional Framework for the development of Telehealth and PoC to support the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 among countries in the region. (3) The generation of a Global Health Surveillance Protocol based on the integration of healthcare records of providers in the region, with the PAHO analysis programs and reports for COVID-19.
