The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR) of Paraguay to effectively fulfill its role as the lead and coordinating body of the new integrity, transparency, and anti-corruption regime. The specific objectives are: (i) to support the implementation of the new Integrity, Transparency, and Anti-Corruption Regime; (ii) to strengthen the capacities of the CGR's communications area and the design of innovative strategies for disseminating oversight results; and (iii) to consolidate the CGR's performance auditing through the training of its high-performing team and the strengthening of its internal structure for the application of this audit modality.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IDB / IDB INVEST
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project.
