Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

The objective of this TC is to support strengthening of the sector by: (i) planning improvements to essential water and sanitation infrastructure and contingency strategies to address climate change scenarios for metropolitan Asuncion, with an approach that prioritizes vulnerable populations; and (ii) developing institutional and social capacities for sustainable, quality management of water and sanitation services, through tools that facilitate operational management, the development of an improvement plan, and social coordination mechanisms with a participatory and gender-equity approach.
