Support the Ministry of Education of Panama and the Executing Unit in charge of the Program Improving the Efficiency and Quality of the Education Sector (PN-L1143) in strengthening the technical aspects for the execution of the different components and activities of the Program, as well as additional actions that will result from the Program for the Improvement in the Efficiency, Quality and Inclusion of the Educational Sector of Panama (PN-J0001) to improve access, quality and coverage to students residing in Panama, regardless of their nationality or immigration status. The TC is intended to ensure consistency between the various components of the two education operations.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
