Project Description

According to the IADB, the program's general development objective (GDO) is to achieve adequate access for the population to quality civil registry and identification services nationwide. The operation will pursue this objective by reducing the transaction costs imposed on Peruvians for obtaining Registry and Identification Services (SRI). To achieve this objective, the following Specific Development Objectives (SDO) will be sought: (i) expand the coverage of identification and civil registry services; and (ii) increase the efficiency of identification and civil registry services.

If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
