Project Description

According to bank's website, the poposed project aims to improve resource mobilization, public expenditure efficiency, and fiscal transparency in the state of Gujarat. There are two components in this project. Component 1: Strengthening PFM systems and institutional capacity through IT/digital and functional improvements (IFMIS3.0). Designing, developing and operationalizing a modern IFMIS 3.0 Strengthening procurement capacity Strengthening Fiscal Planning and BudgetingStrengthening Project/Public Investment Management Component Component 2: Data led Outcome Monitoring and Governance: Incrementally expand the 'Command and Control" monitoring architecture across priority sectors/service delivery areas, to develop a state-wide comprehensive system, leveraging unified data, processes, systems and technology platform.
