Project Description

According to bank's website, the proposed project aims to respond promptly and effectively to an eligible crisis or emergency in Zambia. In the event of an eligible crisis or emergency, the CERP will be activated to provide immediate response to mitigate the impacts of crises on vulnerable populations. This includes emergency livelihood support such as cash transfers and cash-for-work programs, provision of essential emergency supplies and services including WASH inputs, and the operational, coordination, and technical assistance support needed to ensure the efficient and effective utilization of these resources.
