According to the WB, the Project Development Objectives are to: (i) increase access to quality and affordable healthcare services for the population without social security; and (ii) enhance national health system capacities for health emergency prevention, preparedness and response.
This IPF seeks to increase access to effective healthcare services for the population without social security and enhance national health system capacities for health emergency prevention, preparedness, detection, and response through the implementation of two components: (i) support the creation of the Universal Health Service (SUS) through: (a) strengthening Ministry of Health stewardship and SUS governance and (b) enabling digital health transformation in IMSS-Bienestar; and (ii) strengthen public health resilience capacity.
