Project Description

According to bank's website, the proposed project aims to increase energy access and access to clean and efficient energy solutions for productive uses leveraging solar energy for households, commercial, and industrial users, and public institutions in rural, peri-urban and urban areas through clean energy solutions including refrigeration and air conditioning, and to support value chains that increase productivity and create jobs.The Project will adopt an inter-sectoral to collaborate with other sectors and leverage synergies across World Bank-financed activities particularly including in Agriculture, Education, Health, Transport and Water sectors.
