According to the WB, the state of Amapa has requested the support of the World Bank to further advance ongoing reforms and enhance efficiency across whole-of-government management and service delivery through the Progestao Program. This project is fully aligned with the objectives set forth under the Multi-phased Programmatic Approach (MPA) Progestao framework and prioritizes key areas, including human resources, pensions, procurement, investment management, budgeting, and asset management. Additionally, the project will finance targeted improvements in financial management and information systems, with the aim of strengthening fiscal efficiency in the health sector.
