According to bank's website, the approved project, implemented by the Ministry of National Education (MoNE), consists of three main components. The first component focuses on strengthening the learning environment to develop priority skills by upgrading classrooms with interactive technologies, establishing ICT labs and innovative classrooms, modernizing vocational workshops in prioritized fields (including green sectors), and enhancing special education settings. It also supports the development of real-world, task-based learning environments that integrate inclusive design, sustainability features, and digital tools. The second component aims to strengthen teaching workforce competencies and private sector engagement by providing in-service training focused on digital literacy, problem solving, critical thinking, inclusive and climate-responsive teaching, and industry-relevant skills; and promote engagement with the private sector by promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among students and graduates, and by supporting Edtech start-ups at all stages through mentoring, incubation, and partnerships. The third component aims to strengthen project management, monitoring, evaluation, and education awareness by enhancing implementation capacity, conducting evaluations, and rolling out national communication campaigns to promote vocational and special education, as well as the digital and green transformation.
