According to bank's website, the canceled project aims to increase the responsiveness of the Sri Lanka reform process to poor and ultra poor groups by developing an evidence based model for scale up which: (i) improves access to sustainable rural livelihoods through an integrated and tailored package of economic inclusion interventions and comprehensive enabling services for households receiving limited benefits under the new Social Welfare Benefit scheme and; (ii) creating effective feedback mechanisms for citizen engagement on critical aspects of the reform process.
