According to the Bank’s website, the development objective is to support the Government of DRC in promoting fiscal transparency and strengthening public institutions for better quality of public service to ensure a resilient economic development in an enabling business environment around the Grand Inga development program.
The operation is structured around three pillars:
Pillar 1: Improving Efficiency and Transparency in Public Administration and Public Finance Management;
Pillar 2: Improving the Business Climate and Promoting Private Investment;
Pillar 3: Improving Quality service delivery in Renewable Energy and Protecting the Forests.
