Project Description

According to the Bank’s website, the Program Development Objectives (PDO) are to scale-up renewable energy, improve electricity supply reliability, and enhance STEG financial and operational performance and sector governance.

Early Warning System Project Analysis
For a project with severe or irreversible impacts to local community and natural resources, the Early Warning System Team may conduct a thorough analysis regarding its potential impacts to human and environmental rights.

The potential social impacts and risks associated with activities under the Program are expected to be moderate.
