Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

The Project will scaleup and qualify the state-developed socio-productive inclusion program, Vida Melhor Urbano, providing tailored technical assistance, socio-emotional skills, business training, mentorship, specialized consultancy, networking interventions and marketing strategies to support and enhance the income of self-employed urban workers. In addition, it will support the development of the business providing productive assets or financial grants according to individual business plan. Finally, the project will strengthen the technical, institutional, and organizational capacity of the State Secretary of Social Assistance and Development (SEADES) to improve the delivery of productive inclusion services for the public, focusing on the family as the unit of intervention and the convergence of complementary policies.
