According to the Bank’s website, the objective of this project is to strengthen access to services and economic opportunities for refugees and host communities.
This project will be an Investment Project Financing operation to support the Government of the Republic of Zambia to implement the August 2023 National Refugee Policy. The project will finance a combination of activities to: (a) support policy reforms to promote access to legal identity, right to work and freedom of movement for refugees, (b) enhance infrastructure provision, and (c) create jobs in the agriculture sector.
