Acording to the World Bank summary, Component 1 of the project will support strengthening of Bangladesh Bank's capacity and systems for effective regulation and supervision. * Component 2 will focus on strengthening financial sector safety nets (including modernization of deposit insurance systems in line with international best practice and standards, bank intervention and resolution, crisis preparedness, and communication. The use of performance-based conditions (PBCs) can help streamline the implementation of these reforms and finance associated costs. * Component 3 will support project management.
