According to bank documents, the parent operation objective will be expanded to include an additional focus on the city’s adaptation and mitigation efforts to combat climate change. The additional funding would deepen the efforts under the financial capacity and social inclusion pillars of the additional funding while broadening the objective to include an additional focus on climate change. The revised objective would be: “to increase the investment capacity of the Municipality of Casablanca, improve the business environment in the city, strenghen the city’s resilience to Climate change and enhance access to basic services in the Program Area”.
