The primary goal of this grant is to assist the Iraqi government's Central Statistical Organization (CSO) and Kurdistan Region Statistics Office (KRSO) in completing the third round of the Household Socioeconomic Survey (IHSES III). The national survey measures almost every aspect of household welfare and serves as the foundation for monitoring economic and governance reforms, as well as the design, targeting, and monitoring of government and Bank programs and policies. It is essential for improving the Bank's ability to apply a poverty and equity lens to all of its operations.
