According to bank documents, the project aims to (i) strengthen the basic school system’s institutional capacity to respond to, and recover from, the COVID-19 crisis; and (ii) build resilience to face future crises from pre-primary to secondary levels. It has the following project components:

The World Bank has classified this project as having Moderate environmental and social risks.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF THE WORLD BANK
