According to bank documents, the project aims to strengthen federal and provincial capacity in the education sector to: (i) respond to and recover from the COVID-19 crisis in the short term; and (ii) lay the foundations for resilience to face future crises, with a focus on disadvantaged areas and vulnerable populations.
The World Bank has classified this project as having Moderate environmental and social risks.
