According to project documents, this World Bank funding will support the prevention, detection and response to the threat posed by COVID-19 and to strengthen national systems for public health preparedness in Nepal.
Project components are:
1) Emergency COVID-19 Response
-Case detection, confirmation, contact tracing, recording and reporting
-Health system strengthening
2) Community Engagement and Risk Communications
3) Implementation Management and Monitoring and Evaluation
4) Contingency Emergency Response
The World Bank has given this project a Substantial environmental and social risk rating.
