According to the Bank's website, the project provides funding to the Republic of Turkey to finance development of urban plans and infrastructure to promote integrated disaster and climate resilience in Tekirdag, Kahramanmaras and Manis. The project envisages strengthening of the policies and methodologies for urban resilience supporting private households to enhance seismic resilience of housing located in urban transformation areas, upgrading of critical infrastructure such as hospitals, kindergartens, emergency services, municipal buildings, drainage systems and canals, etc.
