Project Description

According to the Bank's document, this project finances improvements to the country's capacity for managing land contamination and implementation of a risk-based approach to remediation and redevelopment of selected contaminated sites.

Project components include:

  1. Policy, institution and capacity development for contaminated land management;
  2. Demonstration of risk-based contaminated land remediation and redevelopment; and
  3. Project management, monitoring and evaluation.
