According to the Bank's document, this project aims to improve the governance and management of Paraguay's forestry sector. The main goals are expected to be an increased capacity to monitor and respond to illegal deforestation and logging as well as increasing the area under Sustainable Forest Management pilots.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF WORLD BANK
The World Bank Inspection Panel is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by a World Bank-financed project.
