According to the Bank's document, this project will provide additional financing to the 'Serving People, Improving Health' project. The aim of said project is to improve the quality of health services in selected Oblasts, with particular focus on prevention of cardiovascular diseases and cancer, and to enhance efficiency of the health caresystem. This will entail the following components: (i) improving service delivery at the local level; (ii) supporting selected priority areas of health reform; and (iii) project implementation, support and monitoring and evaluation.
