Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the Bank's document, this project aims to improve the performance of Ukraine's social assistance and social services system for low-income families. This will entail three components: (i) improving social assistance provision to the most vulnerable; (ii) supportive investments for institiutional strengthening for administration of social assistance and social services; and (iii) supportive investments for increasing provision of family-based care to support orphans, children deprived of parental care, disabled children and vulnerable children in selected Oblasts.
