Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to the Bank's document, this project aims to enable the commercialisation of research performed in public research organisations. 

This will entail the following three components: 

(1) An applied Research and Development (R&D) programme in the field of scientific, economic or industrial advancement in Uzbekistan. 

(2) An Enterprise Innovation Programme which will provide grants to companies that produce proof of commercially realising the research completed as part of the applied Research and Development programme. 

(3) Policy and Capacity Building Support which will establish a central Technology Transfer Office to provide a wide range of complementary technology commercialisation services.
