Project Description

According to Bank documents, this project aims to improve the socio-economic inclusion of targeted vulnerable communities, and young men and women. Project components include:

  • Providing subgrants to finance local-level climate-resilient socio-economic infrastructure, including youth-led initiatives. These initiatives should address priorities identified through a participatory village needs assessment and decision-making process.
    • Potential infrastructure investments include local roads, water resources and supply networks and waste disposal. 
  • Providing skills trainings and rehabilitating existing buildings to support the development of "disadvantaged and inactive" young men and women aged 16 to 30 years.
