Project Description

According to bank documents, the Project Development Objective is to increase the quality of, and access to, energy, social and economic infrastructure services, and to contribute to the strengthening of local governance in communities in the project area. The project has the following components: 

Component 1. Rural Electricity Supply Improvements
Component 2. Community-led Investments in Socio-Economic Infrastructure Component 3. Community Mobilization, Capacity Building and Local Governance Component 4. Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Communications
