Project Description

This project provides additional financing to support the enhanced productivity and profitability of the horticulture sector in Uzbekistan, and to expand the project area to cover all 13 regions of the country. Components remain the same as the original project and include scaling up access to financial services for farmers and agribusinesses, and the purchase of new irrigation facilities, cold storage and other equipment and facilities.
