According to the Bank's document, the parent project aims to enhance regionally-coordinated access to climate change knowledge services for key stakeholders. The additional financing in this project will facilitate: (i) scaling up of the investment assessment mechanism associated with the parent project; (ii) an additional regional climate investment facility aimed at rural communities piloting climate resilient technologies; and (iii) regional and national coordination.

The World Bank Inspection Panel is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by a World Bank-financed project.
