According to the bank website, the project is specifically dedicated to strengthening Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) to Operationalize and Implement the Regional Stabilization Strategy (RSS) and to support Chad and Niger to effectively participate in LCBC stabilisation, recovery and resilience efforts as well as initiate efforts to empower youth and women in the two countries at the national and local levels in a coordinated manner while benefiting from experience sharing from other countries.
