Project Description

According to AfDB website, the project aims to support CEMAC countries and the DRC to contain and curb the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19). The specific objectives are to (i) strengthen surveillance at points of entry (air, sea and land routes); (ii)build essential sub-regional and national capacity for Covid-19-related epidemiological surveillance and case management; (iii) ensure the availability of stocks of products for the prevention, control and treatment of symptoms; and (iv) ensure communication and coordination at the regional level.
