According to AfDB website, the project aims to support GoT’s efforts to respond to COVID19 and mitigate its economic and social impacts on local businesses and households, particularly the poor. The program’s support of these is fully aligned with ADF-15 priority agenda on the addressing and preventing fragility and vulnerability. Consistent with GoT’s plan to address the crisis, the operational policy objectives of the program will support the implementation of the National COVID-19 Response Plan (NCRP) and Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF).
