As stated by the AfDB, the proposed project is an emergency humanitarian relief assistance for tropical Cyclone Freddy. The Bank’s grant will help address an important component of the early recovery efforts, in Mozambique. The grant will be used to provide alternative temporary shelters, to the most vulnerable segment of the affected population through the provision of family tents, emergency kits, seeds and emergency foods.
