Project Description

According to AfDB website, the project aims to support the efforts of the MMMS countries in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and protecting lives, livelihoods and jobs. In line with the national crisis response plans,the policy objectives of the operation are: (a) protecting labour force productivity and strengthening the public health systems, (b) protecting incomes and livelihoods by helping people cope through enhanced social protection systems, and (c) enhancing economic resilience and accountability in the management of COVID-19 funds.
