Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to bank provided infromation, the objective of the Bank's intervention is to contribute to covering the urgent needs for agricultural inputs that will enable the rapid resumption of production and thus contribute to strengthening the resilience of households affected by the floods. The Bank's action will help mitigate the impact of this natural disaster and prevent negative effects related to malnutrition and the development of epidemics. The P2RS Project Management Unit (PMU), reinforced by the PATAM project's procurement expert, will coordinate and manage the emergency project.
